Roadmaster, Caprice Estate or Custom Cruiser. They are getting a bit long in the tooth, though, so do not be surprised if you need to replace rubber components.

If you would rather a Ford, then a Panther or a Fox body 5 door will do, but these are even older than the GM options.

The last option is the Dodge Magnum, which should only be taken as a last choice, in my opinion. As it is virtually an E-Class, but with shitty Canadian Dodge build quality.

Look, there are tons of microcars, I was just wondering what make and model I should look at and whether a single cylinder, twin cylinder, twin-single, three cylinder or electric would be best. I could probably talk about it for hours, but microcars were big in Europe during the late 1940s to early 1960s and I kind of wanted a piece of that fur myself. I am just a bit indecisive.

Look man, I am sorry if I misread the sticky. I guess I should say that I have a 78 IQ and people can me it for it on this website all of the time. I kind of wish I was smart and all that, but I have saved up for seven years for this and just wanted a bit of help.

If you own a home they're cool b/c you can charge it at home. Used electrics don't really degrade beyond the battery b/c there's no moving parts, it's just a battery/generator to spin the wheels.
The only parts you replace year on year are tires and brakes.
Because of that, you can snag a used Tesla or similar for under 20k.

That said I'm going to recommend you some good old ICE (internal combustion) cars

I'm not entirely sold on the idea of a minivan. I hadn't really considered them because the storage space in my Outlander was about what I needed and I really didn't need to move people around. Also, the gas mileage on these is a bullet I'm not sure I want to bite (27 combined on my Outlander vs like 20 on these vans). I know these are popular for a reason but jumping all the way to a minivan or anything with third row seats for a single guy that just needs more storage than a sedan seems a bit overkill. I probably should have given more context in my post.

Is it a new garage? It maybe has the EV hookup already installed which means you just need a cable. If not, don't bother.
Electric cars ARE decent if you can charge when you want, keep it in a garage, etc. Great daily cars b/c they don't wear out like your weekend hooner will.

I'd be concerned it wouldn't fit in my shared garage. See pic related (apologies for the dogshit photos). I need to be able to fit two cars end to end here in this empty space just like the ones with the covers on them. I do have street parking but buying a new car only to not use my garage seems a bit cucked. Other than that I have no real objections to them. When I said I move "equipment" around for work I mean audio/video equipment. Cameras, tripods, soundboards, big bins with cables etc. I think you might be pegging me as a guy that does more traditional work truck type stuff. I move just barely enough stuff around that a sedan doesn't cut it.

It's a big deal because normies usually treat corporate cars much worse in terms of braking/driving. Sometimes it's nothing but often it's a bad sign.

A friend of mine worked in the service department for Mercedes, and I have another one who formerly worked for BMW.
The one who worked for Mercedes told me to NEVER buy a new Mercedes because he sees so many with problems, specifically electronics or electrical issues which they are seemingly awful at or just don't have a good engineering team for it.
The one who worked at BMW owned a BMW, swore it was reliable and never stops working especially if you get the 6cyl engine. He still has a M2 that has given him no problems.
Goyota and BMW have been collaborating on engines for almost a decade now and Toyota is benefiting from learning about performance and design, while BMW is learning how to make a car that doesn't go boom, for once. (You can look this up)
BMWs 4cyl and 8cyl engines are still equally hit or miss as their older cars were.

Audi is worse than MB in terms of reliability and ease of fixing issues. They do some truly "special" things in those cars.

I'd go between a BMW 340i/540i or the Volvo. Have you considered a Tesla S? They don't wear down with mileage so you can get a high-mileage one for cheap and then you only need to do (maximum) tires+brakes. The other parts simply don't wear down because they don't move.

For example: (I know Euro prices will be different)

Max you will have to do is brakes + tires which is maybe $3k, leading to a grand total of $21k or so. Often, you don't need to do that right away either. No oil changes either.
But typically you need to have a place near your home where you can plug it in.

Ive had so many close encounters with retards in beemers that i do not want to drive one at all. I dont live at home so an electric is out of the question for me. Volvos are second tier for me because, while their interiors are beautiful, especially in white/cream, their cockpit and tablet are dreadfully bland when compared to audi or mb imo. Audi has the advantage of being part of VAG so i'd have plenty of parts at somewhat affordable prices here. The Renault Talisman is extremely posh but finding one with low mileage, the top interior and a 225 hp engine is a task and a half. Also carfax automatically redirects me to the .eu site from the .com one so i cant see your reports. The MB has the most beautiful interior out of all of these, 360 cameras and has 320 hp combined. IK the electric engine stops providing power after a certain speed but it wont be a problem with the speed limits here, i just want it to be fast 60-120 Km/h so i wont fear for my life in each overtaking attempt

Really go for the one you like the looks of most but I find your aversion to a good mechanical car to be strange.
> so i'd have plenty of parts at somewhat affordable prices here.
The problem is that you need to usually take out a lot of parts to install new ones and that costs time, either yours or mechanic time which is $.

BMWs have a really bad rep here(gained from retarded drivers that think the roads are NFS in real life) so i dont want that associated with myself. I want to buy a posh car, its the only time in my life i will be able to because once i get a wife and kids its boring safe suv time and after the kids are all grown up we will be in evhell. I do still value reliability in this decision.

Just get the Mercedes then and deal with any problems that arise.
Life is too short to not do such things.

I also own a luxury car and there is a moment where you quietly realize you do own the car and that is now you, in a Mercedes.
Great feeling.

My Mazda6 got totaled yesterday :(

Any recommendations for a 20K-ish sedan to replace it. I want another one but I don't think I'll find one. I've been looking at a K5 or a Camry any advice?

I'm thinking of replacing my memebaru impreza, it's been a reliable daily until now that I'm getting overheating problems with it. It started with a broken water pump (speaking of, don't let subaru mechanic tell you it's fine to not replace the water pump when doing a timing belt, according to them, 2010 and upwards they're indestructible and guess what happened to mine) and it's been having overheating spells here and there ever since, once we even had boiling coolant, so I'm thinking of just trading it in and impaling myself anus first on a car loan for another daily driver. Either that or sell it to some hispanic for 4K or something.

>general region you're looking to purchase in
Northeast US
>budget
I have about 3K in money right now for a downpayment, if I were to sell the impreza I would have more, but daily driver.
>what kinds of car/truck/tank/tuned mobility scooter you want
I'm fine with anything, so long as it sips on gas, which should be easy since the impreza gets 24M/pre gallon, so there's a lot out there that beats it in modern day MERICA!!!!!
>and what you plan to do with the bastard for example daily, weekend car, track car, outdoor trek car, camping, whatever
Just daily driving, and occasional Uber/doordash driving for luxuries money.
