>>28496392Like I said, what I saw was from a decade ago and it was just rumors followed up with some fan made renders, which frankly didn't look that interesting. I only brought it up because I wondered if the rumors were the same or related.
Looking online, https://www.topspeed.com/the-2023-dodge-barracuda-may-be-the-challegner-giulia-love-child-we-never-got/ this seems to be the most recent batch, but it just is the usual "shown to dealers" rumor which we got for the four door mustang rumors. Seems like there was a lot of these rumors around 2015, but with the way things are going in terms of stellantis leadership and the economy im not sure if they would have just shut the plans down. Then again, with the EPA regulations seemingly set to be relaxed and their current models underperforming, I could see them trying to dust off some old plans and quickly adapt the giulia tooling to it (especially when the giulias replacement is supposed to share a platform with the current charger)
>>28496522The problem is they tried to make a platform that can be both ev and ice, and just like the cars that BMW did that with, it's pig heavy, although it doesn't help that it's also a good deal larger than the outgoing charger
