Everything from the 2-4 Series is at least decent. The 2 Series is basically the only good small premium car and the M240i is blisteringly quick. The 3 Series is widely regarded as the best entry level executive sedan. The 4 is similarly competent. All the M cars are basically best in class. BMW is doing very well lately.

It's the reverse. It's the only "bad" BMW.
It's a really outdated model, also as >>28496425 pointed out, an overpriced 5 series which is even worse since the 5 series has a new gen while the 8 series has been the same car since its revival.

On the other hand other BMW models are great. No matter the engine it's great, reliable, economical, if we're talking B58 and up great gains and fuel economy for the power. 2-4 is essentially the same car, very fun daily if B58/40i, just all-around great and economical cars if 20/30, M versions if you can afford are even greater fun dailies. 5 series was always a great bargain used no matter the model since they depreciate so quickly.

MB/Audi slumped and only retards buy those just because of BMW stereotypes.
