Roundabouts in the countryside are generally straight forward and ok but the city ones are way over though. You are having to turn left to go right in some cases, switch lanes half way through some of them and don't get me started with the ones that have traffic lights on them that are about 100 feet apart and are at odd angles so you don't know if they are for you or the traffic entering the roundabout.
I have been driving through Italy these last couple weeks and I have yet to be confused except once where the satellite navigation told me to follow the road, the actual road does a switch back type bend but it wanted me to go straight and leave the road. Totally fine otherwise even driving on the opposite side I am used to.
