The Golf GTI is the instrument of choice for someone who daren't stand out. It's obvious, the boring choice, and says that you're somewhat dull, but to call it gay just says that you're online too much.

It's the cheapest new car you can get that has a legitimately high tier engine+trans+chassis. Not getting it in a greyscale color is even more of a win

I have a GTI and it's the least gay thing about me. Interpret that how you will.

GTIs are driven by literally everyone, most of the people who can afford a $30-35,000 VW are 50+ from my past experience. The only car that even hints you're gay is a Tesla or Miata. There's no specific gay car though because gays all live in cities and Uber everywhere.

Ive driven my lovely Peugeot 208 GTi for a couple of years and it's been great. I hear the golf gti is more or less the same, same performance just more mod potential. I am 28. The people I see driving Ford Fiesta STs, GTIs, GTis are anyone; old, boyracers, women, chads, losers, anything.
I bought an mr2 2000 2 weeks ago and am having more fun in that despite it being slow as fuck, though.
