What is the ideal late 1990s/early 2000s Car for the man who seeks to give the image of himself as a man inferior to women in every way, a man who earns less than his female colleagues, has a female boss, and works in a female-dominated job?

FD production concluded in August 2002, as that was when the grace period for the 2000 emissions standards expired.
Different markets stopped selling them at different points, but there was enough stock in Japan for sales to last until mid 2003, just in time for the RX-8.

If I had to pick one standout, it would be the Ferrari 250 GTO (1962β1964).
Why the Ferrari 250 GTO?
1. Stunning Design
The proportions are flawlessβlong hood, low roofline, perfect curves.
Designed with input from both Giotto Bizzarrini and Sergio Scaglietti, itβs aerodynamic art before wind tunnels were common.
2. Legendary Performance
3.0L V12 engine producing ~300 hp.
Lightweight, rear-wheel drive, and built to dominate GT racingβand it did.
3. Racing Pedigree
It won the FIA GT World Championship three years in a row (1962β1964).
It competed inβand often wonβendurance races like Le Mans, Sebring, and the Targa Florio.
4. Exclusivity
Only 36 cars were built, making it extremely rare and valuable (some have sold for over $70 million).
5. Enduring Legacy
Itβs one of the few classic cars that appeals equally to racers, collectors, and designers. Itβs practically a rolling museum piece and a track beast.

It wasn't from a performance standpoint, but a build quality standpoint. You could now have a car that looked like a Ferrari but wasn't nearly as temperamental. You have to keep in mind the 348 was still a thing with the NSX launched and the NSX was FAR more refined in daily driving scenarios. Hence why you see 400k+ mile NSXs and 348s are mostly weekend toys.
