Which gen? Because current golfs are bigger than my Niva.
I'm not nitpicking, modern small cars are all fucking massive

i wish i took a photo when i parked my 89 cressida beside a 2019 corolla. the cressida looked even smaller than it already was.

i actually really want a scaled down c3 camaro, I don't know why such a thing doesn't exist, not as small as a powerwheels car but only big enough to fit a 350 5 speed and a narrowed car axle

Honestly, the vast majority. It's refreshing to not have some giant angry face object in your peripheral and I say that as someone who dailies a diesel truck. Sedans and hatchbacks are the goat.
Anonymous No.28507553 [Report]
Most of them. Esp if they're manual and power the rear wheels.
I am only attracted to small cars.

Early 90s Accords were kind of small, and ridiculously good at cornering. The Prius has a surprisingly smooth ride and roomy back seats.

Not really sure if it counts as small, but i really love the n15 pulsar.
Just a really neat car thats simple enough for even a dumb teenager to work on.

Look at sporty Opels from the same era, if you want a babby C3 Vette there's the Opel GT and if you want a babby turdgen Camaro there's the Manta B.

Why did the Smart car and Scion iQ not take off in the US? Are they actually awful to drive?
Anonymous No.28515393 [Report]
>>28515378
There aren't many places in the US that would require cars that small.
Anonymous No.28515398 [Report]
>>28515378
Both too expensive for how small they are. The Smart can't even fit more than 2 people and the iQ was more expensive than its slightly bigger brother Aygo, which was a smash hit in Europe.

Cressidas are so funny in that they have the proportions and styling of a full size sedan land barge except they're made for 4 foot tall Japanese people so they're actually tiny when you compare them to anything else.

yeah, once i'm inside i forget that it's a pretty small car, especially by today's standards. at least, until i go to park and squeeze through tight spaces, that was great. i'm debating between another cressida or an 80s 1uz crown for my next car.

Still, I'd say it's a start.

I won't drive anything with a width above 70", that seems to be the sweet spot for easy maneuvering and being able to slip by traffic to make a right turn on red.
