Horses actually develop like was it 0.8 horsepower as the original test was done with donkeys and they figured a horse would've been twike as strong, which it wasn't.

A standard horse will do ~1hp continuous or ~15hp for short bursts. A big ass Clydesdale or some shit is obviously going to have a higher continuous HP rating as well as a fuckload more low rpm torque. A drugged up high end race horse will do a lot more than 15hp but not for very long with some bad reliability.
