Do you put the trans into neutral and engage handbrake when parked? Or put her in gear?
>>28519091 (OP)I put her in gear unless I'm parking on a slope that I think may require the handbrake
>>28519096Is there any downside to this?
>>28519099>>28519091 (OP)Why you wearing tops bro?
I've always only used the parking brake. Always left the car in neutral, why would you put it in gear when parked? I live in a very flat under sea level country if that matters.
Just post their names and social
Yes you have a fetish
It’s unhealthy
I'm psychotically afraid of grinding down the P lugs on my autobox, so I put it in N while holding down the (foot) brake, engage parking brake, release foot brake, then switch to P.
>stop
>shift neutral
>curb wheels if necessary
>release brake, engage handbrake
>power off
>shift 1st/rev depending on slope
dad always gave me shit when i "put strain on the transmission" by parking in gear without parking brake engagement first, even though automatics always park that way
>shift to park
>handbrake so it doesn't roll and stress transmission
problem solved. next.
in gear 90% of the time. its a soibaru so 4 wheels aint moving. if a hill then gear and brake
I put the trans in gear and gently pull up the handbrake
>>28519844You're gay as fuck if you wouldn't.
>>28519847I was referring to the text in the post, closeted faggot. Didn't even open the video where it undoubtedly shows its cock
>>28519091 (OP)The by the book rule is:
>Handbrake on>If facing an uphill slope: First gear in>If facing a downhill slope: Reverse gear inThough most often than not you ca settle with just the e-brake.
>>28519099Holy fuck those man hands lmao
He isn't fooling anyone and if you would you are a faggot
>>28519091 (OP)>huge baggy shirt to hide the shouldersThey might make it look pretty on camera but you can always spot these creatures irl
>>28519096Why wouldn't you use the handbrake by default?
>>28519091 (OP)Where I live, you either use the handbrake, or the rest takes it away from you
>>28519099Yeah it's a fucking man lol
>>28519847I'm not the one who wants to fuck a man lol
>>28519858There's plenty of gay bars in your town
>>28519989I don't wanna wear it off
I only use the handbrake when parked. Can't think of any legitimate reason to involve the transmission in the situation. Only when I'm parking on a very steep slope and there's no curb to turn the wheels into I might stick it in gear for some added precaution.
However, people claiming to use only the handbrake because they don't want to strain/wear the drivetrain aren't thinking clearly. The amount of force/wear the drivetrain sees when using it to hold the vehicle stationary is an extremely small percentage of the force/wear it sees under normal acceleration which you're doing all the time while driving. The drivetrain doesn't give a shit at all.

Always leave it in gear, use the hand brake to supplement if it's a slope, curb wheels if a slope and parallel parked. If it's a steep hill make sure that the load is on the hand brake, then use reverse.
>>28520816You're telling me I shouldnt always engage the handbrake regardless?
>>28520826no you go up the hill, turn the engine off while still rolling uphill, put it in gear and leave the parking brake alone
>>28520847What happens if I leave the brake on?
>see flat chested woman
>immediately suspect whether it's a man
you guys are brutal
>>28520872Yeah, the cock loving faggots in denial who post webms of emancipated men pretending to women is getting out of hand, it's brutal.
It's mental illness
>>28520924Emaciated is the word anon. Which, on that matter, plenty of women also lose their breasts due to starving themselves. At this point they all look androgynous.
I'll give that tyranny my ATF fluids if you know what I mean.
>>28519091 (OP)I'm not brave enough to use my parking brake.
I did that once and came out the next morning and it wouldn't release. Frozen in place. Spent ~30 minutes with a torch and wd40 trying to get the brakes to release.
Also
I want to go back in time where I never even questioned whether or not what I was looking at.
