This is naive and brand whoring.
Cars are cars and brands are just used to sell them.
The reality is that Audi Sport GmbH, M GmbH, Mercedes-AMG, and Porsche Weissach, Lamborghini, Aston, Corvette are seperate companies within the bigger company. To through these cars appointment by appointment and Porsche isn’t really offering anything better than M nor Ferrari at the high end. There is no reason at all Porsche can’t be priced to compete with Corvette other than people will still pay.
The 911, even the GT3 street car is basically being driven by a computer and has a lot of systems to make the 911 RR layout handle well. The AMG was designed from the ground up to be a top tier gentleman driver GT3 car. It’s perfectly balanced and tuned to go fast with a low floor and it’s not artificial where Nannies do the work.
That’s reason to get an AMG GT. The only true 911 driving experience you can buy is a 911 GT3 cup which is just a race car with no computers to help.
Were not going to pretend than a 911 C2S competed with an AMG because it doesn’t. It’s not a super car. It’s developed ina different building by different people for different customers.
