Cars should not sound like fucking weed eaters. Are manufacturers cramming smaller and smaller engines into cars to try and force people into EVs?

Your little cuckbox doesn't need a big engine. You can still get a Corvette with a 5.5 liter V8 or a pickup truck with a 7.3 liter V8.

No, they're doing it to provide sufficient performance with low enough emissions to pass the standards. You use less gas and pollute rest while the performance doesn't suffer.
