If /o/ designed a car, what would it be like?
Iād love to drive a Tesla wagon
>>28529304 (OP)1980's gm B body with manual transmission, 3-dial AC, 600 cubic inch inline 6, and double bones on all 4 wheels
>>28529304 (OP)Brown manual rotary diesel wagon. Can't buy it new, only sold used with 50k miles on it for $3500.
>>28529304 (OP)Honders with rwd. Imagine a Jazz with rwd or manual civic with rwd.
geo metro 5dr 5spd turbocharged suv with awd, plus luxury options for 'escudo-esque' trim and cupholders

>>28529304 (OP)probably something like gr yaris or that renault hatch with mid v6 if u want srs answer
>>28529304 (OP)please tell me someone has the pics from the last '/o/ draws a car' thread
2.5L V6 NA 270 hp
1 kwh mild hybrid system
no fucking stop start system
every single important function has a real button
the screen is for displaying the map, the music information, and phone calls, and inputting nav
a full fucking laptop keyboard in the center console for putting in GPS destinations with normal sized keys and backlighting
wagon
air suspension that can lift it up for river crossings, lower it for highways
hands free cruise that senses curves, 8 speed auto with overdrive gears that aren't fucking so high so you can have more lower gears for windy roads
really bright headlights that steer into curves
easy to use remote start that easily lets me program in an exact temp i want the car to be at and lets me turn on ventilated or heated seats
leather - gray
uv acoustic glass
no fucking wires in my front windshield (they are to defog in the winter but I hate looking at wires in my current car)
digital rear view mirror
360 cameras that work for dirt roads - can keep on up to 40 mph
off road cruise control like on the new land rover defender
locking rear diff
locking center diff
AWD
chunky tires
good interior lighting for the trunk and backseat - I guess that's what those garish LEDs are really for - I don't have those in my car and it sucks
oh and a sunroof with two separate buttons - a THICK ASS blind that lets no sun in and is ideally as wide as possible - but plenty of headroom too
seats have power thigh bolsters - my dad's old 540 had those and thye were super comfy
manually adjustable side bolsters that stretch either fully out or in if you are thin and doing cornering
seats they haven't made since the 90s - ultra padded I am big I do not want narrow seats
>>28530502>really bright headlights that steer into curvesshould be frames/brackets that accept sealed beam units so you can install glass H4 conversion housings. that way if just the housing gets damaged you can still keep the bulb and replace only the housing which is available everywhere
>>28530525I don't understand what you are trying to tell me.
I have projector beam LED headlights and they are OK but it feels like they could easily project more light + 20-30 ft further + they don't steer around curves.
>>28530573sealed beam housings are cheap and come in glass housings so they never fade, plus they're very easy to replace
>>28530418unironically it would basically be this but without the hydrogen fuel cell/EVshit and just a turbo straight 6
>>28530766Even I'm not autistic enough to design a car without power windows.
>>28531405Some legend actually did an illustration of it, too.
basically i would just reinvent the c4 sledgehammer. im really hoping gta6 will let us properly modify cars with engine and tran swaps at the very least.
Bring back the AMC eagle with gme t4 or t6, zf8 or 6060, all three body styles, 4wd out of a grand Cherokee. Interesting and colorful cloth interior, minimal screens besides something to work with carplay
Satisfies wagon autists, "no more than you need" coupe incels, and sedanniggers
>>28530760I still don't get what you are telling me to do - I'm a wrenchlet. Replace my own headlights?
>install glass H4 conversion housingsfor what purpose
>>28531504i'm saying if /o/ designed a car it should have sealed beam housings for ease of replacement
H4 conversion housings allow you to just swap the bulb out, it's the best of both worlds; if the bulb goes out you don't have to chuck a perfectly good housing away (especially if it's glass) and if the housing gets cracked without damaging the bulb, the bulb can still work
>>28530502Volvo V90 Cross Country or Audi A6 Allroad
>>28531412this car causes too much seething to be /o/ās choice, even more than any BMW or EV
