I've factory ordered a maverick xl hybrid with awd 4k tow.
How's the mach-e, I heard those things were cheap because the new model is getting a proper heater or something? I've heard both these vehicles are terrible for making cabin heat in winter

Sure I'd get a zoe or miev or something as a daily if I had the room for it. Alas, I am an apartment cuck and I already have 2 cars.
I'm still saving up for an Ioniq 6. The 2026 "facelift" looks awful so my choice will be very limited amount of available cars.

>>28532223 (OP) there aren’t any ev convertibles under like $100k. When they can figure out how to make one that’s only like 8k more than a nissan leaf I’ll buy one.
>>28532305 there’s the original tesla roadster, a limited run mini cooper electric convertible they only sold in europe, and the hummer ev if you count T tops. in the future there should be an electric porsche 718 boxter, and the polestar 6. exactly none of which are remotely attainable.

>>28532223 (OP) Because they are gay and overpriced. Used to work at a dealership, it was always the most reddit tier freaks or shitskins asking for EVs
Do you get free electricity? Even with a 30 min each way commute I spend at most $45 a month in gas. I don't even think about it. But hey, keep telling the world that you spent tens of thousands on a product to save $1/day. That's almost enough to buy a 12pk of soda after a week!

>>28532223 (OP) My daily commute costs me about $0.57 in a car that cost me $800. It would be foolhardy to purchase a vehicle to "save money" on fuel outside of a scooter that would still take years to pay itself off. >>28532239 >I've driven 150k miles in my k24 accord in the last 8yrs averaging 24mpg. I spent roughly $42000 on fuel Sure, if you're paying $7 a gallon .

>>28532223 (OP) Honestly I've been thinking about buying whatever cheapass shitter EV I can get for around $5k like an early Leaf or i-MiEV. Range is unimportant to me as I have 4 other gas cars I can take on a road trip at a moment's notice, as long as it can do the ~10 miles I drive a day and charge overnight it would be plenty. I'm a mechanic so learning to work on these things would be prudent of me anyway.
