You buy a vehicle(car, trugg, bike, doesn't matter) and then when it needs service or repair or a sick new mod, you look up how to do it, and then you do it. Don't have the tool? Go get it. It's really that simple.

Facebook Marketplace and estate sales and garage sales can give you really good deals on old tools because there's a lot of people that just don't want to work on things anymore. Or they do, but they bought all their tools before dad died and now there's a bunch of extra stuff. So even if you're poor it's manageable.
