Why are drivers so aggro?

Better question - people who WILL NOT PASS YOU - even on a 2 lane road - even when you slow down to 20-25 BELOW the speed limit - sometimes they are exiting soon - but they have PLENTY of time to pass you and will neither pass you nor slow down so they aren't tailing you - and sometimes they aren't even exiting its just like they wanna bully you for going slow

I will slow down - on purpose - by 20 mph in hopes they will pass me - wave at them- put my flashers on - NOTHING, they just keep tailing me

I had to resort to getting in the left lane - coming to a near-stop, then getting back in the right lane behind them to get around these people twice the other day

If you're driving with automatic cruise control, you might not even realize that you're riding around at, say, 15mph under what your cruise is set at. Combine that with the button that lets you set the following distance to "tailgate" and you probably are just dealing with NPC drivers that aren't even aware of what they're doing. It'd entirely explain why you're forced to switch lanes and slow down to let them pass, because they are almost completely driving on autopilot.

If you're in the US in most states impeding the flow of traffic is just as illegal as going a few over the speed limit. You are legally required to pullover and let others pass if you can't maintain the posted speed.

So why do you go under the limit? It would be a different story if you're going the exact limit but you're admitting to the same kind of traffic infraction as the speeders you seem to deride.

Everyone from Ohio (and North Carolina) does this and it drives me insane on a daily basis. Ohio drivers should be banned from driving in other states. These fucking retards can't take a 3-degree turn without hitting their brakes and/or slowing down because apparently they think their shitbox is going to slide off the road. They go 61mph uphill and 97mph downhill. They act like their vehicle will explode if they leave the left lane for any amount of time. if someone is being aggressive, you're doing something wrong. If you aren't doing something wrong, you're still doing something wrong. just move over and let them pass. it's not that hard. sometimes I'll just put my turn signal on and slow into a protected turning lane and let them pass me.

I've had only maybe 1 road rage incident in the over 10 years and probably nearly 1 million miles I've driven, and it was because I flashed my highbeams at a left-lane camper and he sperged out. I just ended up faking like I was turning off but instead sped up and passed him.
