Sorry but I've been to a few HPDEs "trackdays" and hated it all three times. Everyone i met there was a gatkeeping snob with a big ego. I have much more fun in the touge and cannonballing communities. Cannonballing has made me very very good at advoiding police. I hit 175mph+ almost everytime i'm on the highway and have never gotten a ticket. and the places we do touge it's very rare to see a cop and if you do see one they pretty much just yell at you and tell you to go home. I do practive technique on the sim pretty regulary as well I just don't get as much enjoyment out of it compared to the real thing.

I have a fast car that can only drive on the track. Public roads would destroy it regardless of legality. For the street I recommend motorcycles. Cops don't often chase you on a bike. I drive pretend racecars too but it doesn't satisfy my sanic desires.
