Never modded a car before but kinda want some added intake/turbo noise from my current daily so thinking of replacing the intake and turbo inlet, probably not gonna add a BOV or anything

Check on forums specific to your car. For some turbo cars aftermarket intakes can mess things up, especially if it has a different inner diameter from stock. Usually it's fine, but check anyway. You do hear a lot more of the turbo noises with an open filter intake for sure.

I'm trying to get the VTEC crossover louder on my 2005 Civic EX so I got an Injen cold air intake on the way.

I just resealed and head studded an NB2 VVT motor and swapped it into my NB1 Miata, and am waiting for my new engine management to come in. At the same time, I also swapped in a 6 speed and 3.63 Torsen rear differential. Last year I put in Koni Special Active dampers with OEM 04/05 Mazdaspeed Miata springs. Even without the software to run the VVT yet it drives so much better and the 500 rpm drop the new gearing gives for cruising on the highway is bliss. I can't wait to have it dialed in.

I installed rear sway bars last Saturday for my Infiniti Q60. I was worried my car’s bolt and nuts were too rusted but WD-40 came in clutch. I did have to buy a socket wrench for my impact driver. Seems like my car likes 10 mm and 14 mm a lot. I plan on doing rear sway bar endlinks soon after I get my brakes and rotors replaced. I already have lower downpipes, heat exchanger, strut tower brace and a tune in my car.

sxth element and forge both get great reviews, my only concern (altho minimal) with an aftermarket intake reduced filtration performance, since i like in an arid climate and don't want to suck up more dust/dirt/debris or have issues from hitting tumbleweeds
destined to suffer from paranoia and overthinking about how my engine might grenade and i'll need to swap back to OEM so they don't try to deny a warranty claim or some shit

I've had open filter intakes on everything for 20 years now and been fine. But I live in the swampy forested southeast not the desert southwest. It's fine, we'd have heard of people blowing their engines in the southwest (which has a bigger car culture) by this point if it were an issue.
