Cars you'll be buying in the next 5 years
Right now due to buying my own apartment I can't buy this. But in the next 5 years I'm seeing myself getting a 370Z. What car are you saving up for?

The limiting factor is that im a KHHV so I have no reason to buy 4 door cars. It's not the money
So in the next 5 years i will find a wife and have kids so i can buy pic related

I currently have a 370Z Nismo and love it. Good choice anon, though I'd highly recommend springing for the sport trim if you can afford it

My current car is great so I'm not really interested in getting a new one, but I wouldn't be surprised if I acquired a GTR, C7 Z06/ZR1, or C8 in any of its trims in the next 10 years

You're a landlord? Damn I hope your tenants aren't giving you too much trouble. You know I tried dating my landlord once. It felt weird paying her rent though so I split it off.

Do it quick anon, they're easy to diy maintenance on (except, oddly, brakes) and it's only a matter of time before the whole brand pulls out of the US

Serious question btw, its pretty much peak performance/cost, but its also an automatic boomermobile that edges dangerously close to needing to be a garage second car with lots of depreciation and two sets of wheels. Like are you really going to get anything with a 2
1-second faster 0-60 than the Z (no idea what the Z is, mid 4s?)

Very tempted to buy a 370z to hoon around in for a couple of years

In 5 years time, there might be some Nissan Z for reasonable price

My 5 year goal is to own a garage with a lift, and replace all the bushings on my evo 8

>automatic
If it has a DCT, or at least an auto that shifts faster than I can shift manually (with paddles), then I honestly prefer it
>boomermobile
Nobody that I would want to be friends with cares
>depreciation
Good, I plan on buying it used and thrashing the thing so the cheaper the better
>extra set of wheels
How is this a downside? If the original owner bought an extra set of performance wheels/tires and packaged them with the car then I'd happily store them in the garage for track days
>0-60 time
If one car is 1 second faster than the other, then they're not in the same league. If it's 2 seconds faster then the other car may as well be a shitbox in comparison (assuming the faster car has any cornering ability whatsoever)

The past year or two has been a great time to buy a 370Z. If you want to get one, then try to get it now. If you're not sold or are willing to wait 5 years, the new Z should be in a similar place on the market as the Z is right now (assuming Nissan still exists in 5 years)

I dailied a B8.5 S5 before realizing that was retarded and traded for something more reasonable. When I have the means to be a two-car man, I'm finding another one.
