Multiplication through division has been one of the most interesting features of the transition from apostolic christianity to the more organized religion as we see throughout the age
Its ok, we have 1000 years to learn properly what it means to have fellowship and worship Creator God, Himself leading the example and also being there for input and croticism
As per nicean creed guy last thread, yes there are a great many historical grievances involved when some dickhead suddenly decided to coopt and subvert Gods Grace for his own vain pursuits of power- all doctrines and dogmas aside, these historical grienvances have led to generational consequences

Those are cool as fuck too but I absolutely love soviet-slop for the aesthetics (and I think it’s hilarious to buy communist slop using my capitalist gains).
I dream of riding down abandoned forest roads on an Ural with my tula SKS on my back

Should I buy Ural as my winter project bike?
I won’t be able to do anything else anyway.
I can wrench it in my living room. I’d buy something more special like SXR400, but I’m afraid there are no parts for it.

Genuinely asking are Urals even worth restoring?

650 bucks for a complete bike.
Engine spins, no idea if it starts (it will).
The beauty of Soviet bikes, aside for their obvious looks, is in how rudimentary and simple their designs are.
There's absolutely nothing complicated in them and you can get them to run with just hopes and prayers basically.

They do have their issues, but they also have a lot of character which in my opinion outweighs their cons.

in my eyes this is just all the disadvantages of a bike and a car combined. safety of a bike but as big as a car aka cant park anywhere. worse handleing than a car but as exposed to the weather like a bike. fuel econemy of a car but need to stow in a garage if you don't want the value drop like a rock. You can cover up a bike really easy compared to this. A bike obviously needs less garage space.

don't buy this midlifecrisis of a toy and just get a honda grom or anything japanese up to 400cc.

Yes. You’re unironically more likely to injure yourself on one of these boomer machines as three wheels are terrible for corners. A motorcycle is a self stabilizing gyroscope. You don’t have to do much to keep it upright other than keeping it moving.

You have failed the course, the intended end result is getting the certificate. While not strictly a test you can still fail training. I have to do many training courses as part of my job, which also grant me certificates, and I can fail them.

I've actually done the CBT 3 or 4 times, I failed the first time at 17. Yes they can ask you to come back again, just like you can retake a test, but that is additional and you will be paying for it again. While there are not strict determinations for what result sin a pass or fail like a test you can fail to meet the required standard based on the instructors discretion.

Depends on what Ural, but in general Urals are incredibly easy to work on, but there's some things like the clutches for example that you need to pull the engine out to do.
Some claim you can do it in place, but it's such a fucking hassle to do.
The engine is held in place with 3 bolts and you can pull it out with the transmission in like 15 minutes.
That being said, I wouldn't do it in your living room especially if you own the place, it WILL leak oil everywhere.

Dunno about the US, but at least in Europe it's surprisingly easy to get parts for them, even the ancient M72 models and they cost like jack shit compared to any other bike parts.

It's a shameless rebrand maxi scoot I see on marketplace. It looks neat and supposedly uses a Piaggio/Zongshen engine (real partnership). But when I look up the same engine cost for a Vespa 300gts, which is the same engine, it comes out to the same price as the scooter itself. I can't tell if the price is because it is a better quality engine or simply because the name vespa is slapped on it. It's probably built out of reject parts is what I'm thinking.

Its pretty piss, you usually spend the morning getting used to a bike, then riding round cones etc. Afternoon you go for a road ride. If youve literally never rode a bike before it all depends on how you take to it.

Get certificate = pass
Don't get certificate = fail

I don't get how you can't understand such a simple concept. The fact you can retake the course and try again is irrelevant, you can do that with any test. The intention of the CBT is to train you to be able to ride well enough to be allowed on the road, represented by a certificate. If you're not good enough you fail and don't get the certificate. By saying you can't fail you're heavily implying that everyone will absolutely be able to get the certificate and that's simply not true.

>>28553358
Some riding schools will allow you to pay a little extra (I think it was around £20-30) that will enable you to take the course again if you don't get it first time around. This will probably only apply once though, as in you can't pay £40-60 extra and get a third chance at it. Otherwise yes you will have to pay the full price again. If you've driven a manual car and understand the concept of the clutch you'll probably get the hang of it quickly, if you've never drove manual it's still pretty easy to understand and get good enough at but you might then struggle with changing gears and selecting the right gear. But it's a training course, that's what the instructors are for and what you're paying for. I think it's up to like 8 hours and 2 of those on the road, so 6 hours of constant practice.

I'm a bong, but for that much I'm sure you could put together some mental 2 stroke 125 putting out that much power at fuck-all weight. Maybe even a Gilera Runner 180.
Wait, can you have 2 strokes on the road in the US? Is this the one area where you out-loicence us? Kek

There is a thick plastic cover over the rear tank though, all the cases where it ruptured seem to happen when it slides backwards into something, probably because it's part of the sub-frame and can't deform without breaking.
Abrasion resistance seems to be fine.

We don't have those here, unfortunately. Only 70cc is the max I've seen you can buy locally (>>28553534). You can get the 100cc gas bikes but that's a different thing.

But still, going 70mph on a cracked out 70cc 2 stroke on the highway commands some respect. I hope the frame will hold.

So it ran fine until a few minutes after putting fuel in it and the exhaust had enough of a smell that you noticed it.

Gonna go out on a limb and say there's a non-zero chance you got bad fuel.

Because the SV is a gorillion years old and get converted to GSXR rear wheels to not have to find modern 160 rear tires every day while the MT07 is designed to be the shittiest bike with the most squid appeal possible which includes things like having a big boy size tire.

Big dickplacement vtwin tuned for bottom end tork. Peak tork hits at 2.7k lol, 80% of tork available at 7mph and doesn't stop until 80mph then it runs out of steam by 100mph. The problem with 1L crotch rockets is that they lack balls from 0mph until 60, then they take off but anything under they suck. Big bore bikes are fun without breaking the speed limit

You're better off getting a literbike from the noughties when they made 160-180hp but still had strong midrange. Today they're all emissions strangled ayt low revs (Kawasaki, Suzuki, Ducati) or super circuit focused top end monsters (Honda, BMW).

Yeah a pipe and tune will definitely help the low to mid range, but then you'll still have a 100mph first gear and way over 200hp at your disposal, which won't help keep your licence alive. PSA: the undisputed king of mid range sportsbikes is the KTM RC8 R, go and watch some video on it and see if that's what you're into.

I damn near just fucking wiped myself out in the first 10 kilometers of my trip.
Corner got tighter and suddenly changed from the nice dark asphalt into the old, pale grey, polished one. Thought to myself "im sure its not that slippery" but the front wheel started sliding away. Managed to catch it, or better said the bike pretty muched caught itself working nicely beneath me with barely any input. Was going around ~80 kph.

Was the closest i got to crashing without actually crashing heh, cant see it well on the pic but there are those skiddy marks around the whole tire, and as you see not even that much lean at all.

Felt like the rear was also sliding, not 100% sure though.

Well

I'm unable to understand people who complain about a bike being "slow".
I rode a 50cc bike. It gave me the "Hell yeah!" feeling while barely reaching 50km/h.
I rode a 1200cc bike. It gave me the "Hell yeah!" feeling despite the lethargic initial acceleration.
I rode a 900cc bike. It gave me the "Hell yeah!" feeling even though I didn't bother to shift up from the first gear.

If your suspension and chassis is good enough, high speeds will feel like nothing. If you give linear power delivery, it will not be exiting, so good bikes will feel slow and will not be exiting, either the bikes need to be made shitty with injected shit feels or the person using the bike has to take it to exciting places. I'd rather do the later.

They made 5k for the initial run and then more after that in 750 and different sizes. 500, 700, 1000. But the VF750F was the first homologation special made by Honda. You can find them for sale and they are fairly cheap even in good condition. Snagged mine for 2kUSD
