>>28559811>>28559831 Depends how hard I push. If I push lightly skin moves with a helmet and if I push hard it doesn't.
If I shake my head I feel the helmet shaking but not sure if it is with my skin or around it and it doesn't really change position from how it was before shaking, guess that's good.
For pressure points I'll have to wear it a little more to see if it hurts. I feel slight pressure on my cheeks and when I try to bite I kind of lightly bite them. And some pressure around my head but that seems normal. I'll see my instructor monday, hope he'll know

>>28559976>I feel slight pressure on my cheeks and when I try to bite I kind of lightly bite themTotally normal with a new helmet. Also pressure around your head is fine. actual pressure points that will hurt over time are something you notice after like 15 minutes of the helmet on your head. The fit sounds good.

>>28560437looks like every spark plug I've pulled out of my bikes
>>28560458Track is a good idea, if you can keep it just there that's the best option and safest. On the road I just ride where there are no people so there are no cops. I haven't seen a police car out there in probably six years. When I'm near towns/people I cool off and just cruise, also just because that's respectful to others. It's not right to ride my bike dangerously fast where I can hurt others.
Each bike has a soul, a bike with a sport soul will always ask to go faster, whereas a cruiser will ask you to be cool. Maybe you need a new type of bike. Cruisers aren't slow, they're just slow compared to sport bikes. They're still fast as fuck compared to everything else on the road and lots of fun. Maybe do that?
>>28560458I used to ride recklessly like this and sincerely when I started road cycling I totally cooled off. You can get pretty fucked up on a downhill but for the most part itโs just thrill on two wheels without the ability to get quite so badly fucked up - or to fuck someone else up they badly

>>28560483Id actually disagree with it's answer, I'd say those plugs indicate leaner rather than richer mixture.

>>28560480>>28560467There is something about it though that is fucking MAGIC that can't be replaced with anything.
Used to actually get adrenaline dumps just putting on my gear knowing I'm going out for a good rip, to the point that I would be sweating and trembling until I get out of my driveway. Frightening the life out of my colleagues on the way to work. Overtaking lads on liters on my little SV and them not following me, should have been sign enough that I am being dangerous.
Currently feeling major cognitive dissonance, I know I'm a cunt on the road and not proud of it but at the same time I sort of am, I don't intend to speed but I know I probably will and I say I'll sell it if I get another ticket but I probably wont, I know it's not cool but at the same time it is so fucking cool, there is something wrong with my head idk

>>285606341. Make sure you have a block or something to keep the pistons from fully collapsing. Otherwise air won't move.
2. Spin the rear wheel and tap your rear brake, if it locks up fast then you have air in the system most likely from the PCV bleed valve near the fuel tank. If it behaves like a typical rear brake then you're good, while riding. Your front end should dive when using the rear brake if not then you have air in the line that goes from the rear brake to the front pair of center pistons.
3. My money is on the stator + rectifier do both anyway even if one component looks decent. if your bike somehow fires up then your ecu is fine. If it behaves wildly inconsistent then the ecu got cooked.

In other news, I swapped my previous high pipe exhaust which was a black widow pipe with a delkevtec.
BW: better mounting hardware and hanger mount
Delkevtec: better steel for the high pipe, better exhaust clamp, sound is excellent.
Of the two I'd suggest the blackwidow high pipe only if you have their exhaust manifolds and can. For delkevtec, it's all around better except the mount is trash.

No ethanol in my fuel, XR400 starts after draining the carbs and a few kicks. Fuel at least 18 months old.
Hell, even my ZXR250A started after 5 seconds of cranking with full choke in equally old fuel.
That said, I've never run anything, knowingly, with ethanol so I have no idea.

Suck it nerds
after nearly a decade on 4 cylinders from 250 up to 1000 I've decided to step down to a 650 single. everything vibrates, im constantly looking for bolts that have fallen out, my brain is on edge trying to figure out whether the noise coming from the engine is knock or just normal, my god does the thing fucking vibrate and rattle. but at the same time i just twist my right hand and there is always that same torque and i kinda love it. just the damn noises and vibrations it makes have me on edge.
>>28561291dont ever get a 690 single then
the engine is so loud and metallic you constantly think theres something broken
people keep posting videos of their 690 idling on KTM forums, sounds fucking terrible, clacking and whateverthefuck, and all the replies are

Okay, I get it now, guys who ride like assholes weaving through vehicles on interstates. When you ride safely and leave space, some assholat or three will inevitably pull into that space, because apparently we all meed to be bumper to bumper at 75mph or we all get there too late plor something.
So now I too will ride like a douchebag and try to get away from people who just assume breaking distance is a fairy tale.
I ride a zookie. I love her.

New (to me) leather. The leg is a bit tight but I'm 20lbs overweight, losing it in next 2 months or so. But the strech band joining at my crotch, the stitches there have gone loose and i can pull it apart a bit. It's just some simple sewing right? Do I need any technique to fix it?

Is it bad for the breaks to pretty much not use them?
For context, I drive a scooter with a CVT, and that CVT essentially acts like a break without throttle so I usually dont use the breaks at all
I heard somewhere that its bad since the disks may rust?
And while we are on the topic, is it better to brake hard or softly for the brake pads?
>>28562245>is it better to brake hard or softlyHow do you manage to pay your revolving debt?
>>28562245You need to use the brakes occasionally to knock the rust off the rotors. You want to use moderate brake force most of the time. Too light or too hard most of the time will torch your pads and warp your rotors.
>>28561557If traffic gets too competitive I just slow down and get behind a slow cager/ride in the outside lane and take a break until the general mood changes. If I'm caught in rush hour interstate traffic I'll sometimes just explore random surface streets as an alternative, or even find a restaurant or shop to chill out in if I'm not on a strict schedule. The advantage of a motorcycle in mt mind is that it's never a chore to spend more time riding.
>>28562247debt is gay
