the vesa mounts are fixed, but the arms can swivel a bit. I am going to order the adjustable vesa mount that trak racer sells and see if it helps a little bit

if you dont care about potentially damaging the current vesa mount, you can try drilling with a 3-4mm bigger bore, so you have some space to move the screens before fixating the bolts. Will require 8 washers of appropriate size though.
might be worth trying before ordering a new mount

Can you legitimately race in BeamNG or is the physics too erratic to be consistent?

the biggest issue is there is no easy way to have a race
like it's not assetto corsa it's like garrys mod, and the multiplayer is a 3rd party mod so it's not like it's optimized or anything
the physics and beammp netcode are ok enough for normal racing like up to gt3s and i've seen people do f3 racing in it, but f1 and lmps probably not currently possible. mp has lots of desyncs the faster you go.

ive never been able to actually race on beammp. its mostly children spamming rocket buses etc or doing police chases. if you dont have a tight knit friend group who all likes racing games there is basically no way to play online on pc without shelling out a shitton for iracing

just set up my new gsi wheel on my r12 v2 base, feels way better than the moza ks wheel. that piece of shit rattled so much whenever ABS kicked in when I played LMU, it felt like a toy. none of that nonsense with this, its super sturdy. and the paddle shifters are way better. the price fucking sucks though but you get what you pay for i guess
