Ideal tare weight to payload ratio for trucks?

I say maximum would be 1.1 (tare divided payload), anything higher is just fat.

Then why did you post it retard?

>Had to use a special SU carb in a draw through set up and with tuned springs, oil weight and needle because the stock carb wouldn't work for shit
Fuel injection chads just be slapping that shit on and letting the ECU work it out

As if efi doesn't need an upgraded fuel pump and injectors as well as replacing the stock ecu.

Hondas and Toyotas cop turbos no problem under a certain boost level - this is the power of EFI.

There's also the sigma forced-induction mechanical fuel injection.

Don't most forced induction engines breathe literally using their own power?

No thanks

Consider turbo as an add-on. But go and unscrew the intercooler pipe and watch the faggot choke with no power.
Seriously though I don't actually hate turbos, just when there's a need to worry avout repairs.
Sounds like something 90% of people here would like to at least try.
>Like a boomer on a ventilator in hospital bed
Like someone pushing the pedals of an exercise bike hooked to the said ventilator to breathemaxx.
>

I do hate forced induction for added complexity ever since I bought a turdo car, it's definitely not a replacement for displacement (in the said car they tried exactly that because it's a Euro shitbox), but the analogy is wrong. It's not the inability to breathe on your own, it's for when you're really greedy for air/fuel mixture.

It would be nice if modern metallurgy was used to make previous designs tougher and lighter. But noooo, everyone is forced to make tiny overstressed crap instead.

THE BOX. YOU OPENED IT. WE CAME.

Also btw, carbed bikes especially are sex in terms of sound, EFI can go suck a dick.

Carbs are outdated crap for hippie and boomers.
Modern cars problems stem from them being deliberately built be shit in every aspect, not just engines .

Carbs are outdated fickle crap for contrarian losers and old ass boomers.
Modern car problems are entirely by design, and originate from modern dystopian policies being implemented on them.
