2012 lexus gs250 - literally the best possible car buy on the market right now for a comfy but still sensibly priced 4 door car

Exterior looks: Fairly normal, understated, professional. Euro competitors might win here
Interior looks: Absolutely perfect, delightful. One of the best ever done.
Engine: 2.5L v6 200hp, good power and still economical

Compared to equivalent euro rivals, it's got a nicer interior (in my opinion), will be cheaper to buy & maintain, and won't give you the 'insecure trying to impress other people' look
am I missing something?

interior, beautiful
luxurious, heated and cooled leather seats, quiet, reliable, nice without making you look insecure like BMW, Merc and Audis do.
Assuming you want something nicer than a typical toyota corolla, but don't want to buy german, isn't this just perfect? utterly perfect?

I mean it's fine man, nothing about it is particularly great, but nothing is particularly bad either. It's far from exciting to drive

Just get a GS350 or IS350

i like the 250 because it is the cheapest way of getting the nice interior. I don't think theres a point in getting a bigger engine in a car that is just inherently unsporty like a sedan. 200hp in the gs250 is perfectly ample. If i want a sports car, i'll get an mx5 (I already have one)

The 2.5L still drinks a ton of fuel and is underpowered for the cylinder count and displacement. Don't believe me that it's not economical? Go test drive both on the same loop.

>200hp, good power

this is why power to weight ratio is way better

I would call 200hp good power in something really small like a Miata. I'd call it adequate power in a mid sized sedan like the GS250.
