New car
My girlfriends car is finally ready for retirement. 2011 MT civic with 350k and 5 previous owners. She was a beast, but now its time for something new. The base model of the 2025 civic is starting at 32k which seems a bit absurd.

What would /o/ recommend as an alternative?

How about a nice sensible three door.

I would simply maintain the old car instead of another shitbox

This is what I was trying to do, however its turning into a nightmare. Everything is rusted out, bolts and screws are seized. Its decayed into a rust bucket due to years of abuse.

2020-2022 Acura ILX. Maybe the 2023 Integra if she wants something similar, but cooler.

Mazda 3 is a good alternative to a Civic.

Fuck new cars. Buy something that’s older and really cool.

Shes a woman, anon. It just needs to be manual and reliable.

There are no new options for this, start combing used listings.
