Yeah, that's false. 40,000 deaths per year in USA. Tesla isn't even a blip.

>u-umm actually all the statistics are lying, tesla is super safe!!!!
facts don't care about your feelings.
tesla makes 2 cars with the highest fatality rate per billion miles driven in the top 20.
Teslas probably get good crash ratings, but their drivers are fucking morons.

It’s been getting worse recently. I blame burgerking influencers and various other richfags on social media

Is it required that you be an illiterate retard to drive a tesla?
It says right there
>fatal accidents (cars per billion vehicle miles)

In order to have a meaningful statistic comparing multiple things with vastly different points of reference(ie: the number of miles driven by toyotas vs the number of miles driven by teslas), you need a baseline by which you're measuring. It's the same concept as measuring things like murder rates per capita instead of just a raw number.

This guy even tried to explain it so simply that even you could understand, and you still pissed and shit yourself while attempting to defend your fag mobile.

What's interesting about this stat is that Tesla gets good "safety ratings" and has the exact same airbags and all that shit as every other car. So there must be some other reason for why they're so deadly. Personally I think it's some combination of having crazy acceleration in a non-enthusiast car and the dumbass drivers thinking that this shit is actually self-driving when it's really not.

Evs being marketed to people that treat pedals as on off switches are absolutely why so many people are crashing them.
Not only crashing them, but crashing at fatal speeds. It's the main contention I have with the ev hummer. A 4-5 ton vehicle that can get to 60 in 3 seconds is just going to get people in normal cars killed when they run over them as if it's monster jam
Anonymous No.28564968 >>28564980
>>28564962
I think the hummer ev looks cool but you're right, it is ridiculous that it and cars like it are totally normalized. You can make a car that is dangerous to other people all you want, but you can't make a car that could potentially be dangerous to its own driver.

There were 89 million vehicles sold in the world last year, and last year Tesla sold only 1.8 million cars. That's 2% of the vehicles sold in 2024. Now account for all the vehicles which sold before Tesla existed that are still on the road, and I'd bet that Tesla vehicles account for less than 1% of the vehicles currently in use globally.

Friendly reminder the doors are fully electric and the "emergency" manual releases are hidden behind covers that would be very difficult to reach in an actual accident.

anon, niggers don't understand per capita and liberals don't understand that the government hates them and wants them dead.
Airbags are LESS safe than no airbags, the NHSTA has data that proves this, then on top of it 50% of all airbags made worldwide for decades were actually claymore mines, and yet they still shill for their "safety".
Tesla is the same. They add features that don't work (self-driving, collision avoidance, etc.) and then sell them to you for more money. People who wasted their money on them don't want to admit they were conned, so they'll say the car is "safer", even when all data says otherwise.

Extrodinary claims require Extrodinary evidence. Saying the safest cars on the road driven by the safest demographic is killing many people needs the full data shown to ensure they didn't make a mistake. Did they under calculate the miles driven? Or somehow over calculate the deaths?

People didn't think 3-door gas cars were massive death traps. Just that they were inconvenient.

There's often a child-safety switch to keep your toddler from opening the door while driving. It makes it so that the door only opens from the outside. Sounds like someone flipped that.

>>28566016
All 3-doors I've had have the front seat slide and fold forward at the push of a (mechanical) button that's easy to reach from the backseat. One even had an extra pedal to do the same thing. Takes 0 skill and 1s.
Combined with electric seats they do become death-traps though.

The idiot probably didn't understand the function of the "child door lock" button on his door and every time he pushed it by accident the doors stopped being openable from the inside and he didn't know why.

Wouldn't be surprised if he brought it to a shop every time, they pushed the child lock button, and charged him full price for repairing the door locks because he's a moron.
