Well the transmission is often a weaker link in the powertrain chain; so when you're hauling heavy loads regularly or abusing it a bit like doing 100mph burnouts, the transmission can sustain damages. Transmissions are incredibly complex now that they're got like 10 speeds forward, sometimes stuff breaks when you send 500+ horsepower through them, I guess that'd make the transmission fluid seethe out of the seals or seams.

One could respect, even admire truggers, if they just admit that they are being willfully ignorant, if they just admitted their truck is a toy at best and a commute vehicle at worst and could easily have been replaced by a small car.

No one buying a Kawasaki H2 to ride on the street will seriously tell you they NEED the speed, the way truggers will tell you they NEED the towing and hauling and diesel.

Being a trugger is worse than simply being deceptive about your needs. No, truggers expect everyone else to believe their lie as well. It is an almost evil mindset, which by the way has been carefully refined over decades by the auto industry and marketed to these overgrown children since childhood.
