No, it isn't road legal if it no longer fits in the legally defined size limits. Semi trucks aren't parked on street spaces. Any light duty truck that is bigger or modded to be bigger than size limit laws is no longer legally capable of parking on any public space.

I have friend that works for RACQ and he does have to save some of the American APCs because they keep getting stuck in the old streets around my city.
