As far as I know, the whole company is dead now - which was no surprise to me, I left because the owner was a moron without a viable business plan and I couldn't get him to listen to reason and stop hemorrhaging money on flashy promo events, con booths, and exotic itasha that cost way more than we were ever going to make in sales. Also, I was only there because I happened to have the really specific cocktail of qualifications necessary for the job (small business management, high-end car background, experience and connections in the US anime convention and cosplay scenes) and even then it was challenging and frustrating as hell trying to keep things going.
I still see some of my Japanese industry friends sometimes, usually when they come to the US for AX, but even I haven't had a lot of opportunities for anything else similar, and most of the offers I HAVE had would require me putting money (that I don't have) into a partnership or finding a way to get myself a Japanese visa and moving there.
