There's this one asshole with a candy pink vw bug that drives up and down my work commute road.
On the road there's this one quite sharp blind turn that the fucker always takes head on and the main issue is he always cuts the corner by driving in the middle of the road with zero care for incoming traffic.
Yeah I know it's "based" except he has sideswiped 2 cars in that corner in the past 5 years and wrecked one bug already in a collision.
Usually people are courteous enough to swerve to the side, except when I'm driving in my lane with my shitbox crossover.
Thus far he has narrowly avoided hitting my car, swerving just as he's about to wreck a second time.

>I have to turn left to get into work
>come to a complete stop in the left lane because the 2 lanes of oncoming traffic are heavy
>while I'm waiting for a gap, a jeet driving a work van is coming up behind me
>tries to lane over to the right and move around me, as you do
>except there's a car there
>car honks at jeet and jeet realizes his mistake
>jeet moves back into my lane but doesn't slow down
>realize in that moment I'm about to be rear ended at ~40 mph
>I step on it to shoot through a much smaller gap in traffic than I'm comfortable with
>mfw I somehow didn't get hit

I do this religiously, it has kept me out of several accidents. Similar to your story:
>heading home from work for lunch because I have a delivery scheduled (new home gym, I needed to be there)
>3 cars including me going 80km in a 60 zone which is standard on this road outside of rush hour
>Coming up to a sudden amber light
>First car stomps on the brakes even though no one is turning left in the oncoming lane and it turned amber about 20 feet out for him
>Car in front of me is a Tesla and hammers the brakes in time
>I foresaw this and had lots of room to stop but I did have to get on the brakes hard
>Jeet behind me in a shit box 2000's Hyundai that was already falling apart was on his phone and bare tires hit his brakes way too late and was skidding towards me
>I see this in my rearview and move up almost kissing the bumper of the Tesla in front of me
>Jeet barely stops with about an inch from my rear bumper
I have avoided so many accidents by just watching the people around you. Always assume everyone is fucking retarded.

White cuckover pulls out in front of me while I am traveling at 70mph on a 2 lane highway just as I am nearing the crest a hill. I had to move into the oncoming lane and brake while assessing if I need to move into the oncoming shoulder for oncoming traffic or get back into the correct lane. No one was coming up the hill so I was able to get back into the correct lane. Luckily I was prepared for the dumbest shit imaginable to happen in front of me as soon as I spotted the white cuckover. I don't understand people who joke you like that while driving, I had a side-by-side illegally driving on the road and they pulled off the road to the right which I assumed meant they were letting me drive around them, and as I hit the gas to get around them, they suddenly decide that rather than pull off to the right they actually want to be driving across the entire road to get to the gravel on the left side of the road, so I had to slam on the brakes a second time, like, why? Why are you faking out other drivers where if they fall for it you get hit by a car in a vehicle that is not designed to get hit by a car?

Yeah. I'm not gonna say me specifically but my car gets skittish past like 120mph, even on good tires. A patch of uneven road surface or even a good gust of wind like >>28577320 can destabilize the car. These are speeds where you need aero and very wide sticky tires, and you might as well make it a track car and start paying for track days if you want to go that fast, it's stupid to drive on most public roads above 80-90 mph here and even that is already considered speeding

Had someone merge onto a 4 lane freeway, and then promptly cross 3 lanes of traffic to try and merge into me in the center-left lane, before then also chasing me into the far left lane right after. He then slammed on his brakes with me behind him, but fortunately at this point I had moved back into the middle-left lane. I was convinced the guy had just snapped and way trying to kill a rando on the highway, but as he decellerated past me, I could see him fucking with his phone. Man never even knew I existed.

Idk, buy all terrains with deeper thread depth (they are different) if you really have to drive that fast over puddles of water?
They are worse than highway tires on clean surfaces by probably every measure, but they can withstand thicker layer of water without floating and you get better grip on dirty and dusty parts of the road as a bonus.

Bumper, hood, fender, valance, intercooler, and core support ruined. Had to have a frame machine pull the front end straight and get replacement parts. Took 8 months to get it fixed and cost $5,000 between the bodywork, paint, and parts. I sold the big turbo and put 4 ECS 02s on it after that.
