Push-pull-legs. One day of rest in between. I do legs on Monday so guess my routine is LPP. I also work blue collar, Monday and Tuesday suck but it's way better than having my Saturday be leg recovery day. Because I am a mature, grown ass man, somewhere between a half and a quarter gallon of chocolate milk gets consumed immediately after my leg workout and that seems to aid my recovery.

I have done a very light clutch less downshift a few times when the rpms were very low by blipping the throttle and then letting off. I just looked up a video. Guy was doing it without letting off. Seems like you would need to let off the throttle for the gears to unload, like on a clutchless upshift, but with a quickshifter it would be killing the ignition signal momentarily so that wouldn't be necessary. I was moreso nervous about doing the downshift in high rpms, but it didn't seem to be an issue for that guy. It could still lock up the wheel if you don't blip it high enough and you're way up in the rev range, but I have a slipper clutch.

Guy was in the entrance ramp coming on, you know, where youโ€™re meant to yield to traffic

I hit the brakes to avoid getting side swiped, but locked up in the wet, and then fell down
Anonymous No.28578754
>>28578687
Itโ€™s not clutchless but if youโ€™re accelerating and want to downshift at the same time you can just grab and release the clutch while putting pressure on the gear shifter. So itโ€™s not clutch less but it is fast.
Anonymous No.28578765 >>28578767
>>28578748
That sucks, glad you're not hurt. From now on remember to add head checks at on-ramps to your riding habits, and try to gauge the timing of the vehicle most likely to meet you at the merge. That way you can either bump your speed or let off the throttle to create room for them to get on so they don't do what that guy did. I even do this in my truck, because motherfuckers are crazy and I don't have time for their drama.

I always thought it has absolutely zero storage space and you have to carry the charger in your backpack.
Now I seriously consider getting an Ultra Bee for a long masochistic road trip. I just need a Type2-Schuko adapter and some way to charge my macbook from Surron so that I don't waste 2 hours doing nothing while the bike is charging.
I also wonder if German autism has some rules against using these adapters at EV charging stations.

Would it be worth it to have the pants cut up and add stretch panels, cut and pinch the calves, and reduce inseam to add a stretch cuff. Or just bin it and find a better fit and replace zipper to connect upper and lower. I got the suit for basically free

In my area the Honda is about 10-20% cheaper but if you can get a good deal on one that doesn't need tires and all fluids immediately then it might not be bad to just try one out for a year before considering other options.

The only R&D you need is in a puncture system for the co2. Better yet multiple co2 small cans could probably make up for the issues the Chinese clones have. Systems aren't complex for the actual product with tethered except for the engagement with the canisters. The major cost in vests are to pay the R&D for how much testing they go through. It is more complex than helmet tests.

Exactly they lack flow volume, don't compensate for it, and use an ancient design for an airbag vest. Half the thing with vests is the need for it to be very strong fabric and re usable but no matter what fabric or inflatable device it will need serviced which is another thing that drives costs up of the one and done purchase types that the Chinese clones do not do to keep price down.

I rode up the river the other day. Some of the roads are windy single-lanes (each direction) that follow the nape of the hills along the shore of a lake, then it transitions to a river. I'm not leaning the bike quite as much because I've caught the bottom of it once on a corner, but it does like body lean in addition to tilting it over. I've also started running air in the rear suspension (15-17) and the front end at about 11-12 psi. I'm coming up on my first oil change since I started riding.

Also, I still need to get the horns to run reliably. Does anyone have a recommendation or a parts list for a relay kit that isn't completely useless chinesium? A boomer tried to run me over on I-90 a few days ago and I grabbed some brakes when I saw the dotted line start to disappear in my peripheral vision. I was riding in the left-most lane in the left track behind a Texas-plated lane camper and the guy decided he didn't want to be behind an RV/travel trailer anymore, so he blind merged. After I dropped back out of the way I noticed in my mirrors that even this bro-dozer giant white Dodge that was behind me went "WTF?!" and dropped back like 3-4 car lengths and stayed there. After everyone got around the RV I came alongside the driver's side window of the pickup and just stared at him to see if he would just look over, dude just stared into the distance like an old workhorse with blinders on. They really do live in their own little world.

The old chrome-ringed horns weren't working, so I got some black Hella S92s for it. For the sound they match up quite nicely with the bike. People keep saying it might be a bad ground but I just don't think it has quite enough power to push a tone through. When stationary I'll hit the button and the horns will make a "plink" noise trying to sound. When I've got the throttle at cruise power (3k rpm+) then they want to sound.

I can't remember where I heard it, but I also think the OG horns were like 3A and on the box here obviously they say 12V 5A.

So far in my budget I found
>Vfr800
>Rs660
>Supersport 937
I'll do 16k km a year, my last bike reached 100k km before I sold. The supersport is โ‚ฌ1700 a year to insure, followed by the Aprilia and vfr around โ‚ฌ900 a year.
The Ducati supersport has my heart. The aprilia is a nice 2nd place for cruise control and lightweight but reliability is a concern especially with a 13.5:1 compression ratio I know that motor is tweaked. The vfr is cheap to buy and easy to find but I feel like it's overweight. Some people call the vfr boring and honda-like. Though I feel it'll be the last man standing after a few winters of riding
>They're not sport tourers
If it's sporty and comfy I'll tour on it

Last I checked Bell is the only one that still has a helmet that meets and three DOT, SNELL, and ECE in one shell. All the others including Arai have different shells for different regions requirements.

But that's splitting hairs if you ask me. I would trust my life to Arai, Shoei, AGV, and certain helmets for other brands. Even Scorpion.
