NY anons have you ever seen this happen irl? I've only ever seen it happen once on the garden state parkway.

How do they avoid getting their plates ran? Are they registered or just using fake plates? How do they get past the tons of surveilance cameras in NYC

I think the cars are stolen or rented, fake plates, cops don't want to chase them because it has a high chance of killing multiple people

these three factors combine to give the cops a "why even bother" attitiude.

Not in NY, but I see 1-2 cars do this avery few months on my local highways. I joined in once, but stopped because I was able to weave through traffic faster then them and it just stops being fun the moment you figure out what gaps are big enough for your car

Yea I live in NYC and see people do this from time to time. I was riding my motorcycle on the FDR once and saw a clapped out BMW nearly clip every car he passed. I was driving down from upstate last weekend and saw two chargers doing the same thing, weaving in and out of traffic with no regard for themselves or others.

Genuinely wish these idiots would self-eliminate from the gene pool, but they'll probably take someone out with them, sadly.
