are wide body kits strictly for homosexuals?
Anonymous No.28583237
Most nowadays are for looks but flared fenders can serve a purpose.

I passed a wide body BMW Mini today, about four inch flares on it. Very low, I wouldn't commute it.

actual racecars don't count

They look bad 99 percent of the time, but wheels that go past the wheel well look worse. They only make sense if you installed drag tires or substantially wider racing wheels

Its one of those fads just like the many automotive fads before it that will play out in a few more years and then a switch will flip and everyone including yourself will hate your kitted out car.

flared fenders have been around for decades retard

in japan you legally have to cover the entire rubber surface of a wheel with fender, which is why sometimes you see off-roaders like jimnys with large cheap fender extensions taped under the stock ones, so that they can be legally compliant on wide super swampers.
same for the cars: if you want to run crazy offset or very wide tires you HAVE to extend your fenders, you can't mexipoke or you won't pass inspections and you will be literally hassled by the police for having shit fitment.

I saw an electric R5 today. Exchanged waves. I see more new Mustangs than Capris in my bit of the UK.

Many countries do not allow vehicles within their borders if you have tire poke, a lot of the wealthier American traveling crowd learn this the hard way since it's not only legal, but a styling statement to have tire poke.

That shit is for track cars only.
If you don’t track your car regularly and rice your car out like that, then yes, you’re gay
