this sort of 16th century post-enlightenment liberalism has been the 'strategy' of outer party cuckservatives for the past ~200 years and look where it got them; not a single issue have they ever prevailed over the inner party whigs, who always got their way in the end over time; just constant losing and losing decade followed by decade on every point of contention, culminating in the shitshow we have today
