How much fresh air does an EV need for cooling anyway? It's much more efficient, so it should require less.
Though it is a fairly closed system, so it's not farting any heat out of an exhaust pipe as part of its operating process.
Many people living in cold climates block off even their gasoline cars' front grilles since the "everything must look sporty" retardation has cursed modern cars with ridiculously oversized front vents. If the engine bay is constantly blasted with high-velocity ass-freezing air and snow, some efficient cars can really struggle to warm up.
I imagine EVs would treasure any heat they can produce.
