Night riding
Do you like to night ride? What do you listen to? What accompanies you? Do you like to go to 24 hour gas stations and talk to NPCs?

I don't really like being out after dark these days. The good vibes are gone.

Its the constant sexual harrassment.
I'm a girl (male,) btw. Not sure if that makes a difference?

They changed all the streetlights in my city from mercury and sodium to harsh LEDs. The light used to be warm, inviting, comforting, and didn't interfere with your natural night vision. Now they are harsh white spotlights. Hurts to see. Not fun anymore.

Everywhere in America is a shithole now being out at night for any reason is just dumb

I aim to be out the door at 3:30 on weekend nights cause that's peak dead hours, minimal traffic.
I usually carry a gallon of ice cold water because no ac.
I don't speak or interract with anyone.
I have a big antifreeze jug full of gas that is maybe 1/5th of my fuel capacity that allows me to keep running till the crack of dawn, then I fill up and drive back, I usually get home by 7.
I normally head up into the hills but I am plotting a course for an all-night drive from 11:30 to 7 soon.

All the time, Im a trugger and my favorite time to start the day is between midnight and 2 Nice not to have to deap with retards and its pretty comfy riding in the dark listening to a podcast or youtube vids, or even just the whine of my turbo.

10+ years ago, yes.
now? fuck no. The comfy vibes are dead and gone, now it's just retina rapers on every street. It's only sort of comfy if you go out at like 1 am and barely anyone else is on the road.
>Do you like to go to 24 hour gas stations and talk to NPCs?
why would anyone do that?

I used to go hooning at night quite often, but I got tired of cleaning bugs off the front of my car. Also go tired of getting in way too late and waking up in the middle of the day. Felt like a lazy bum.

I usually don't drink half of it but if I get stranded and the sun comes out you will be miserable without drinking water.

This is a big part for me as to why nighttime feels awful nowadays. Doesn't help than half of the LED lights are either flashing enough to warrant an epilepsy warning or have turned fucking purple because of cheapo parts. I miss sodium lamps so much

Water won't be cool either. And how bad should it be to not sort out "being stranded" by late morning? I mean you're avoiding traffic by driving between 3:30 and 7:00 on weekends (as I sometimes do), so the regular traffic is rather high in your area, you're not going off road and don't drive much longer than an hour one way. In other words, with these prerequisites it's really hard to get into a situation that might require emergency water. Are you in Australia far from major cities?

Of course. Why would you go to the big cities in ANY state

For me it's both of these. You used to be able to get out and night and nightride, then chill and shitpost/watch videos on your phone at Walmart for a little bit, then hit the road again. Now you can't do that at all. And all the bars and stuff close at like 11 now too on weekdays.

do you now know of the existence of insulated bottles?
I've had a bottle that was hot to the touch on a 110 degree day for 5 hours that still had ice in it.

The biggest I have is like half a gallon in your units and it's really unwieldy to use in a car. And that anon needs two of them.
