This 1996 Toyota Supra is a Japanese-market hardtop that was modified before being brought to the US in 2020. TCS and ABS in race cars are tuned to the exact tires, track, and race conditions. Production versions are a tuned for average road conditions with stock tires at best and active detriments to a competent driver at worst.

In 2009 a good entry level sports coupe could give you about .95 G's of stick.
There have been a lot of improvements in tyre technology over the interim, but in 2025 you still see cars hovering around the +-1g figure regardless.
Makes me think manufacturers have been papering over how increasingly suboptimized they've been making everything with the changes in donuts.
