Does Seneca trail mean 33? Like from Harrisonburg to Elkins?
Or is Seneca trail 219? I forget.

They had just opened a new section of corridor H in 2005 and I unauthorizedly borrowed the keys to my dad's 540i and tested the top speed on it - and got a ticket for reckless driving for going 120 in a 65 zone- and had to pay a $300 fine

It’s 219 that’s goes N to S Elkins and snowshoe. 33 over to VA is another great drive tho.

I think there's a place you can park off 219 and walk the old Western Maryland railroad tracks to Spruce (the highest ghost town in WV)
I guess I think that section of 33 just east of elkins is really the prettiest bit.
>33 over to VA is another great drive tho.
unless some guy is tailing you up to north fork mountain like fucking 4 feet behind you and won't let go and there's NOWHERE to pull over on that stretch
hope they finish corridor h soon...
the section between wardensville and davis is a classic - and you go past greenland gap, which is a cliff that you can climb - there used to be a trail, its a nature conservancy property, but they abandoned it because - their words - it was most popular in the 1950s and 1960s and as soon as road access to dolly sods and spruce knob came about - it became less popular, also it requires crossing a creek + 900 vertical ft ascent to summit

E-21 between Valjevo and Pozega in Serbia. It's a good quality road with very little traffic and literally hundreds of curves and switchbacks together with elevation changes going through beautiful mountain scenery.

As far as paved goes the million dollar highway in colorado is pretty good when there isn't traffic. You can't really go that fast since it's very tight turns with drops and parts of the road eroding away but it's beautiful.

33, headed towards the Poconos. Night or day, it's a beautiful drive. It even has to good, high-speed twisties, to keep things interesting. In twenty years, I've seen minimal cop traffic.

Cherohala skyway. I drove it the morning after the first snow of the year and it looked like something from a scenery photography book. Too warm for snow to stick on the road but all of the trees were covered in a thin crust of snow. The road was fun but also extremely beautiful in this state. There are roads in the PNW that are beautiful like this, but it was definitely the most beautiful thing I had ever seen east of the Mississippi.

The full Dragon loop, start at TOTD, take Moonshiner 28 down into Robbinsville, pick up the Cherohala Skyway and drop down into Tellico Plains, take the 360 to Maryville, which puts you on I believe 411, which you can take back to 129 and pick up the Dragon again.

I got to run it at full chat before all the clout chasers and Instagram hypebeasts flooded the area and brought the police with them, this was shot probably in 2019? maybe 2020. Before all the attention whores showed up. I remember when the Dragon was a 55mph road.

Yeah I did that drive over a couple of days while I was staying out there. The snowy Cherohala was the best part for me though, because of how crowded with boomer fucks on harleys TOTD was that week. I never got a chance to do TOTD before social media since I was living in Europe at the time. I got to enjoy some European roads though I guess.

>>28602488

Most of Europe is a TOTD near the mountains, and save for stuff like the Stelvio, is devoid of American retards glued to their social media government tracking devices.

There are a lot of roads like TOTD that don't have all the clout chasers and police camping corners waiting to write a fat ticket, TOTD is just low hanging fruit for state police.

It was glorious running that bastard at full tilt though. At the time that car had open headers and any effort of standing on it would create this beautiful reverb of howling Mazda KL against the rock faces on parts of that road. If you show up early and out of season you can probably get a good run on it.
