>125cc bike
all the time, but that means nothing
>moms 1l kei-car
does 160 km/h and the engine could've done more but it wouldn't keep straight, needed two lanes of straight road. Never again.
>97hp Corolla
yes, speedo above 190 km/h, was more focused on the tach at red-line but couldn't let off the gas because an Audi was 1m behind me
learned a lesson with that one though after having to emergency brake from 180 on 12yo bald tires. That was fucking scary
>300CE
nah, let off at 180km/h (should do 225 but it's old)
>Focus ST
became too twitchy for my taste somewhere around 225 out of 250 km/h, haven't found an empty enough Autobahn since getting decent tires
>work cars
>eUp!
130 km/h governed
lame
>e Smart (MK3)
140 km/h goverened
surprisingly comfy but battery-gauge in free-fall
>BMW 520d
accidentally went 190km/h felt like 120 in my shitbox
>Peugeot Partner 1.2
had mercy with it at 160 km/h

In the past when you could read the speedo turned off it was a status thing. You'd have people go 'Dude, the speedo goes to 200!' not knowing that the thing would top out at 160.
Also offers some room for improvement if you install some go-fast addons
