Lada Niva, GAZ-24 Volga and Škoda 120GLS.
Soviet cars are all absolutely horrid shit, never ever ever buy anything even remotely related to them and if you happen to have any soviet cars laying around, I can take them off your hands for cheap so they won't bother you anymore.

The red one is a Škoda Typ742 120GLS
It's a rear engine pushrod 4 banger shitbox from the late 70s till early 90s. Think VW bug, but watercooled inline 4 instead of an air-cooled boxer.
Famous for overheating very easily due to the cooling system having the radiator up front and the waterpump not really moving coolant under 2k rpm.

That being said it's a pretty neat car and as my daily driver it's been manageable after some modifications.
I personally love it.

Grok, make a Ford Falcon, but better.
The stylings are very typical 60s in my opinion and they originally wanted to export it to the US, but that plan failed.
There were some pictures online floating about of the original sketches and prototype designs that were more akin to a Chrysler 300 with big fins and everything.
I'm not sure how much of the GAZ-24 really is a copy as a lot of shit got carried over from the older GAZ-21.

There was supposed to be a 3 litre V6 model specifically for export with US customers in mind, maybe even the 5.5 litre V8 going for export, but again the US export thing never materialised.

Personally I really like the car, it's a very solid machine, it's built surprisingly sturdy and it looks good.
Shame that aside for the super rare 5.5 litre V8 model and some swapped ones done by Scaldia, they only came with a 2.4 litre 4 banger either pushing out about 90hp or 70 in the low compression version.
It's dogshit slow even if the engine has a very nice torque curve and a surprising amount of low end torque.

Well I mean you know they’re two vastly different cars. The Civic is a fine daily driver, it has enough power for me to be more comfortable passing people (compared to the 97 Civic it’s a rocket) and the fuel mileage is pretty good so far. I bought it this past Saturday so I’ve only put 400 miles on it though and most of that is highway. The rev hang is annoying, and the clutch is basically numb, but you get used to it. It feels like it handles very well, and definitely feels lighter than the S550. I could see it being more fun and less of a handful on tight and slow back roads. Definitely a much more practical car too. I don’t know if I would get rid of my Mustang for it but that’s me.

Not him, but Si / CTR owner who drove the Mustang - not even remotely comparable. The Mach 1 pulls on the CTR and the Si has revhang.

Not sure how you could cross-shop the two. The Mustang also absolutely eats gas at a ridiculous rate and you get typical sports car issues like eating consumables (pads/tires) and needing separate A/S vs summer tires. With the Si, it's just a regular car (one that's barely faster than a 2008 Si and feels worse).

I am actually pro-Si, but you can't compare them.

Got rid of that for a manual ct4v blackwing. The only attention I got in that car was from nerdy gear heads. With the c7 z06, nearly every time I getting gas kid will come up and say “bad ass”, of the more common boomers who come up and talk to me about how they have a c4 or c5.

it was the 60s chryslers – some imperials, one or two years of the dodge charger, and probably other models. had a transistor oscillator that converted from 12vdc to 230-300vac. it wouldn't electrocute you, but it could definitely give you a good jolt if you were careless.

I am thinking I am jelly.

> best looking vette
> manual
> not so old that it falls apart by default
> reasonable price
> beast performance
> only vette with no boomer vibes and just looks damn good

I would probably still want some reliable, every day daily though. Not that the Vette isn't reliable, but would feel bad driving it in snow, for example.

Evo Wamgon.
Very comfy on long journeys, just wish I was shorter so I could sleep more comfortably in the back.

My yuropoorfag schizo garage again. Probe is awating quotation at a body shop. Turdgen has most likely some transmission issue. I think the 2-3 clutchpack is dying.

i like it anon. Are they fairly rare? And which came in wagons? Think I've only really seen 7-8-9 in wagon form. And there aren't many in my region.

I love it anon. After the fall of Mitsubishi, I've developed more love for the Evo (and Mitsu in general) in all flavors. The WRX feels played out and I miss the rivalry.

Not much, but its mine. I feel I'm some sort of glutton, because I've been thinking about buying more Fiat, as if people don't think I'm gay enough already. I should go out and take some more picture of the car, at the very least, since it has been a minute

i've bought this clanker back in january
yearly inspection is coming up next week and i'm out money to register it
still have to replace the windshield
i've done a bunch of maintenance and a little bit of "mods"
even bought a parts car last month and it also has a cracked windshield so i'll have to buy a new one...
anyways to spare you the whining and get to the interesting part
it's a 2002 C200 kompressor sportcoupe, pre facelift m111 powered
it's a nice and cozy ride especially after getting some wider rims(R16 from a S class) with 225/55 rubber
it's also a pretty zippy ride with a bunch of torque in the low rpms
i also have a smaller SC pulley on the parts car and plan on planting it onto mine, along with basically new H&R springs i bought off of a junkyard for some pocket change
best of all, i have a 50L LPG tank making my fuel consumption very manageable

I am definitely fond of the fiata, but the limiting factor in me liking small cars is that I'm too tall for a lot of them. I've never sat in the 124, but I know I'm a bit too tall for the ND when I was in a friends. Could I fix it with lowering brackets for the seats? Maybe, but I really don't want to go back to driving a car where my head is always touching the roof.
