They have failed miserably every time they tried to make a sports car

I enjoy the MR-S
I don't see how mk4 supra can be considered a failure when it literally elevates the entire JDM scene

My first thought was "define failure" but apparently OP doesn't even know what a sportscar is

comparing the new NSX to the LFA is crazy
Anonymous No.28605578 >>28605587 >>28605594

you're right. at least the new NSX had trickle down technology for Honda. the LFA was just a waste of development time and money to accomplish nothing.

the new nsx is so ugly that i can't take your opinion seriously.

so is the LFA, in addiction to just not being good at anything.

We place bad opinions like this one into the garbage can. The LFA is arguably the last great car.

Stop posting. the nuNSX is the ugliest piece of shit ever. The LFA is fucking awesome.

Based fellow mrs enjoyer. I get the hate considering the engine choice but if you think of it like the mid engine Miata you can have fun with it and still easily swap a 2zz in.

the biggest retards are the people defending a car with a shit automatic that drives poorly as "the last great" of anything. the LFA marked the downfall of japanese sports cars. its everything /o/ claims to be against. the opposite of a driver's car.
Anonymous No.28605691 >>28605697
>>28605679
The story behind the LFA is what makes it great, IMO. The actual car still has to live in the modern era of NHTSA, DEI, CAD faggotry so it can only ever be so good.
Anonymous No.28605697 >>28605720
>>28605691
a lot of cars have "great" stories. even FWD economy shitboxes.
>its NHTSA, DEI, and CAD's fault the car is lame
nah, the Viper existed in the same era and was the polar opposite. analogue, lightweight,(somehow weighed less than the LFA despite no use of carbon fiber), and a traditional 6 speed. all toyota had to do was buy a Carrera GT, take it apart, and make a copy. but they only copied the engine note, and seemingly didn't know what to do with the rest of the car.

Fuck off, Doug.
Anonymous No.28605804 >>28605814

Not really. They only were successful in Super GT once they got rid of the 2jz because it's a terrible engine for racing.

2JZ is great for drag racing. toyota should've marketed the Supra as a muscle car and it would've sold a lot better.
