Car life green text
Tell me about your every day life with you cars.
Are you just a commuter, do you cruise, explore, race. How much time do you get to really enjoy them?

Mine for example:
>Own only one car, Miata.
>Commute is short 10 min but usually just bike or walk for fitness
> about 3 nights a week night cruise before bed
> weekends meetup with a local miata club to drive the back roads.
> if no club event head out on a day trip
>spend a lot of time scouting google maps for good roads and planning trips.
>looking at the street views for find the most scenic drives.
>racing? just in it for the love of the road, the view, and adventure.

Pic rel looked exactly like my first vehicle. That's where my Mopar loyalty began.

I don't have photos of my work truck. I love her too by the way.

But it is fun every time i start it up and drive it
I probably drive the least out of anyone here besides literal busriders.

Once a year I go to some stupid get together at the house of one of the people at my wife's church. Every year the boomer shows me the 1998 Porsche boxster he barely drives anymore and says he'll probably give it to me cause his sons don't even like cars and he wants the garage space.
Tomorrow is year three or four of this cocktease, pray for me /o/ that I'll be driving a Porsche down the mountain.

>live in LA so traffic is bad and stay late to wade it out
>usually just crooze around late at night after work. either going to the movies or eating out
>only go in 2 days to office
>own a home so my 3 cars get a nice place to rest
>usually spend weekend at home working on my house or other hobbies
>will do this for the next 30 years

>car I restored/built from scratch myself from the 1981 hand-me-down parents bought new in 81'
>daily drive, 20 mins to/from work 5 days a week
>weekend warrior/camper/4WD gets me most places I want to go
>not my house, I'm first to leave/last to get home so it hasn't spent a night under cover in more than 12 months
>still get compliments when I enter it in car shows and from randoms when filling up
>the only thing in this world I truly love

Modern cars are just so soul-less. Had to spend a day driving a brand new Tiguan for work, sat back down in my 44 year old shitbox at the end of the day and literally breathed a sigh of relief.

>70% of cars parked are 20-30 yo shitboxes one police raid from scrapping
>But that’s not happening, what are the police going to do with thousands and thousands of rusted out shitboxes?
>At least parking enforcement is working here, forcing the owners to move their crap on daily basis
>I suspect many shitboxes are left unlocked, owners hoping a crackhead will steal them
>Jokes on them, even crackheads have standards, forcing the owners to move their crap one more night

God bless our local parking enforcement officers and crackheads doing God’s work.

I commute 1 hr round trip 4 days a week to work, so burnt out i usually just hit the recliner and turn into a pile of jelly.
Off on Fridays so that's my get out and go day. Usually look online for gun stores I never been to and restaurants I never ate at. Being in the south there's plenty of civil war battle fields to go visit for the day.
No telling how much fuel I've burnt and booger and cum filled meals I've ate.
