This. I test drove one back in 2020 and it’s like looking out of a damn letterbox. Probably the worst visibility in a car I’ve ever driven, which includes a handful of exotics. Other than that it’s super nimble and fast. Excellent power delivery with virtually no turbo lag. I still hate its technically a BMW, but it’s still a fun car to drive.

I hit my head getting in. Visibility is bad like a Camaro as well. If you love driving a sarcophagus that puts a lump on your head, go for it. Brakes were overboosted, car seemed to have a bit of turbolag they didn't tune out, which I also noticed in the B48 equipped 330i I rented.

It's the cheapest suspension design manufacturers can implement next to solid axles. Pretty much every cuckbox, hatchback, crossover has this form of suspension. It is designed to minimize parts count and make the car as cheap to build as possible. If you see a car with McDonald's struts, rest assured it was fundamentally designed to be rented and the value of it only goes down, meanwhile cars with more sophisticated suspensions value only goes up.

I'm honestly pretty dubious of most things post 2019 (despite this I paradoxically do own a 2023 model year vehicle, a 2020 motorcycle, and just got another 2025 MY motorcycle). I mainly mean that my next toy will probably be something a bit older, maybe from 90s or early 2000s.

I rented one with a manual. Pretty fun to drive, the other anons are right that the visibility is pretty bad though. I'm used to older sports cars which have good visibility.
