The screen's design both maximizes the attention you get, and helps you burn even more money, so it clearly just makes the car better at being a Merc.

Looking at the new designs for the 3 german brands, Audi and BMW have thrown in the towel on china and have gonr back to small grilles, while mercedes still thinks it has a chance and went turbo grille

I think all three are just chasing the influencer wave now. BMW specifically is now designing their new cars for "elegant creators" and "expressive performers" (influencers) according to their own press releases, MB is throwing TikTok and selfie cams at their cars, and even VAG is going for ChatGPT integration in their cars. I hate it all.
