New, fun, daily daily driver advice?
Budget is about $10k. Here's some of the options I've narrowed it down to:
>2009 Jaguar XK coupe, 55k miles, $5,500
>2019 alfa romeo giulia (2.0 turbo, 200hp version), 75k miles, $7,000
>rx-8, 6-speed, ~75k miles, $3000 + engine rebuild
>bmw 130i, 6 speed manual, 130k miles, $5300
>bmw 220i (autotragic), 20k miles, $10k (would prefer a 228i manual but can't find one)
>2002 wrx manual, 140k miles, paint is bad, $5k
I prefer rwd or awd, most drives are 30mins to 2 hours, not a lot of traffic.

If it were me, I'd buy either the 1 series if I had to have a manual, or the giulia and tune it to 330hp - the 200hp version is the same as the 280hp version, except the tune. If the traffic really isn't bad, and you don't need cargo space, get the 1. I'd avoid the likely rusty WRX, rx8, and Jag. No opinion on the 220.
