Explain to me why this isn't the ideal daily driver? Gas mileage is shit, yes, but you could get this for less than Turbo GT, Urus, RSQ8, etc and get a vehicle that's nearly as fast and 10000x more capable, and if you're paying that much you probably don't give a shit about $300 / month in gas.

>Gas mileage is shit
Thats something that only affects the poors.
If the difference in the cost of 12mpg vs 32mpg has a negative impact on your life than you have failed already and should be using public transportation to your wagie job.

Go walk into a ""luxury"" German dealership and see what $100k gets you. Enjoy your sea of piano gloss plastics and a 4cyl. When you compare the truck to that the truck seems like a pretty amazing value.

Spending time at a gas station is something they avoid.

A Raptor R goes over 400 miles on a tank of fuel so you won't be refueling that much more often than a 30mpg car with a small tank.

I have the Thousand Mile Stare from shortages and natural disasters so I like mpg because of that. It's like those Great Depression era elders that make it big and hoard literal tons of canned food in their mansion because of growing up in hard times.

They don't catch your eye though. All modern trucks look almost exactly the same. When you see hundreds of them a day on the highway or in parking lots, you don't give a single one a second glance. On top of that your reasoning makes no sense. Does that mean you should marry the ugliest woman and wear the ugliest clothes so you get some crumb of attention?

I honestly think surviving multiple hurricanes has done this to me but in reverse. I want 4wd minimum. BIG diesel to go far. Extended in bed fuel tank too.

I've been through two hurricanes that resulted in seeing neighbors get helicoptered away or have to axe their way out of their attics.

Shit hits different.

The Raptor R is probably the best value out there for holding money. The new Gs aren't keeping up leaving you with the R. I haven't looked at the new Tacoma to see how strong they are yet. Wranglers fell off a cliff as did the LC.

There are zero rich people who give a fuck about getting gas to the point where they'd purchase an EV to save time. They care much more about spending their time doing what they want. If they're actually rich and not just some 7-figure net worth cosplayer then they'll have their help get gas for them.

Handles like shit. Top heavy. Acceleration is boring. Gas mileage is shit. What do you need a truck for?

I'd rather have a sport sedan as a daily and an old single cab truck for work and off road. Driving a work truck around as a daily like a compensating soccer mom is stupid.

That truck can still tow 8700lbs which is more than you can legally tow with your euro license. An F-450 can tow 40,000lbs and does 0-60 in under 6 stock. Just a engine and tranny tune wakes it up and shaves that time way down. See in America we just do trucks different and the right way.

Where I work everyone earns ~90k and has a CDL. Almost non of our driver pool of roughly 100 has a truck, the ones that do are usually older full beds. In fact the only person who has a fully kitted out modern shitty pickup truck is a 50 year old woman. Most people have riced out hondas, old fords/chevy's or any form of toyota.

Also almost nobody who buys one of these trucks can drive them. The have no concept of the space around the truck and can't even pull forward into a spot at a grocery store.

Funny, its the exact opposite at my work. All of my cdl drivers have pickup trucks including me. I have a class a and drive a pickup truck most of the time.

I love sports cars and sedans too. I have had a gr86, gti, golf r, e39 m5, e39 540i6, e30 325is, e28 535is and more. Im currently in the market to replace gr86 with likely c5 or c6 corvette.

I've been driving a couple cars for the last few years but will be going back to trucks. Comfy on and off road. can pull my boat and other toys. keeps messy stuff outside the cabin away from the air im breathing.
