I drive one for work. I get why people like them, it's not for me. They require two parking spaces because they're so long. If you need one of them, you'll know. If you want one of them, by all means if you can afford to feed it, go for it.

Some office workers may just use them as a normal car, and some blue collar guys use em to haul big ass equipment. Who fucking cares either way? White men appreciate and enjoy self-reliance and independence in a way that other groups rarely seem to. We'd rather spend $1000 on tools to build a shelf than just buy one for $200. We'd rather camp in a tent in the middle of nowhere than stay in a hotel at a popular tourist spot. We particularly appreciate the idea of having the capability to do those things again once we've made that initial investment. Trucks are just an extension of that.
