Just a reminder that gasoline vapors have several carcinogens including hexane which has a safe limit of exposure of zero and will give you leukemia in 15-25 years. Pump attendants get cancer at a noticeably higher level than indoor gas station workers.
I'm an ICE guy, but it's best to use precaution with shit like gasoline if you can.

hey you stupid nigger, i'm 57 fucking years old and have been messing around with gas powered stuff since i was 7. i've personally swallowed 20+ gallons of gas working on different shitboxes throughout the years and i'm doing just fine. fucking kill yourself you whiny faggot.

That's not what those spouts are for, it's about 'climate change' horseshit, though they're so hard to use they end up spilling more gas than they stop from evaporating.

Shit man I'm about 40 and have been covered in gasoline several times. I'm just saying, why not take precautions if they're easy and available? My dad got leukemia right when I graduated uni, that was some rough shit. I don't want that fate.

Bro the site is 20 years old. A college freshman moving over from Something Awful would be 38. If you're in the back half of Gen Z, you think this site is for dinoasuars.

I buy normal gas cans at tractor supply, farmer's coop, grainger, and rural king. You know, places where grown men get things they need to maintain their land. The faggot cans come from Walmart, Lowe's, and other places where women and queers shop.

You can get them domestically. They just can't be labeled a gas can. They have to be used for other chemicals instead, so they typically won't be painted red.

This isn't true. Picrel, 2 different cans I got in the past year from rural king. The left one is stamped "gasoline", the other just has the "fuel is flammable and unlawful dispensing etc..." label.

I don't get the point of these. What was wrong with the older jugs you stored spout in the jug? I have several of them and never have any problems and never spill since I can control the flow with my finger over the vent hole. I haven't tried one of these newer ones yet but every person I know who has one hates it and say they spill all the time with it.

When I bought my new truck the dealer gave me the kit and say, they do not install the plate. I get it, why would they when some people really hate it. Luckily on my truck it didn't look horrible with the front plate. Now I changed out the front bumper so now my plate serves a purpose as a mount point for my winch hook to sit when not in use.

Supposedly they prevent burning gasoline from flowing back into the container and causing an explosion. Some retarded kid got burned alive a few years back, and the tard's parents campaigned to have them banned in faggot states like California. You know, cause it was the gas can's fault that the downie got roasted.

The dealer didn't drill the front plate mount holes on my car, I also didn't installed it and have never been pulled over for not having one despite my state requiring it. Perks of being white in a Japanese car I guess
>>28623052 >Always been a little bitch about getting petrol chemicals on me >Mechanic friend calls me a little bitch for it >Tell him I don't want cancer when I'm forty >Tells me I'm being a little bitch again >He dies at 45 of liver cancer
No one ever listens to me until it is too late.

I normally don't bother with gloves but I will keep fast orange next to the water hose and wash my shit off pretty quickly after getting shit like detergent oil or grease on my hands.
>>28623027
In Japan it’s even worse. The front plate is installed with a seal and done for you by the government. You’re not allowed to tamper with it and they have automatic plate reading systems on all major roads.

i use hearing protection whenever i use the impact under the car but i do need to better protect myself against getting oil and shit on my skin. currently using surplus surgical gloves but being surgical gloves, they break quite easily. need to get me some decent disposable ones

The DMV gives you a sampling of what crawled out of the local area. The average state of America is pitiable, because it could've been so much better.

I never understood this. I got one and ordered a regular spout on amazon, but had to use it before the new one was delivered. it worked fine and I had zero issues with it. it takes up more space and looks goofy but I'm starting to think either you've all had a stroke and lost motor function in your arms or you ate lead as a kit because these aren' that hard to figure out. why do you guys bitch about these so much?
>>28625040
I got some super-powered degrease on my hands once and my fingers were all shriveled and scaly for several days after. now I wear gloves all the time, I have a box of disposable and a couple pairs of thicker long-cuff ones. I wear gloves all the time even when changing oil, those petroleum products will fuck you up over time.

Brokeass friend I did 3 tours with died at the ripe age of 52. He was dependent on the VA for all his healthcare and they made him take the vax. Had a heart attack and I was the one to call the welfare check when I didn't hear from him on the 4th of July. Dude had been rotting for at least a week. Left me his motorcycles. I can't ride his bikes
