What are the extra wheels for anyway?
Is it just a technicality thing? Like once a truck weighs over a certain amount it requires 3 rear axles on the ground? Even though it literally isn't doing anything or supporting any of the load? But now big law is happy :^)

for the pushers in the middle yes, but that drop down bridge axel makes a very big difference in handling and is hydraulic. If the truck is unloaded you can pressurize it and change a drive tire without a jack.

Yeah nah. The most skilled truck drivers are definitely log truck drivers. They're taking 100k+ lb loads down your "Jeep trails" that apparently can't fit a half ton.

about half of our new drivers hauled trailers, the all say that concrete truck is way more difficult. You get a feel for it, but it sure ain't steering wheel holding like you're used to. Plus you're required to be knowledgable about the product and how to deliver it under XYZ conditions. And we make more money and go home every day even with the weird hours. Also if you notice when a mixer is doing this the drum is spinning super fast, it's because the rotation of the drum is tied to the PTO and if you're going far away you're probably leaving very very wet which will spill on an incline
