You can put on a $20k "fit" and they'll tell you to fuck off before you get to the door. An actual wealthy person could show up in ratty thrift store clothes and they will throw him the keys. Salespeople are trained to detect wealth by the way people carry themselves. You can't fake that by wearing nice clothes.

You won’t get to look at it unless you are the same degree of Mason as the sales manager and they’ll make you write a letter of application to the dealership with a summary of other Porsches that you have bought from them, or other dealers they like, over the years

A very similar story happened to a black trucker my uncle knew. He showed up in raggy clothes with a case full of money, asked how much a 750 and a 325 went for. Was laughed off, asked my uncle (who worked at the service dept) where the nearest BMW dealership was. Hours later said dealership reported a brand new 750 and a brand new 325 paid in cash.
