Whats the appeal of npc car gatherings like tail of the dragon?
>Tons of police enforcing the speed limit
> Trains of 30 plus cars going 25-30 mph
>People drive thousands of miles for a light sunday drive
My normal commute is more exciting than shit like this

If it is popular, then chances are that the road will be patrolled. This is why I and a few others go into abandoned housing developments instead, though we stopped a few weeks ago after a couple of corpses were found.

the honest answer is no, after hours the dragon and moonshiner are almost never patrolled. After 2AM you may not even see another car on 28, which is a lot faster and more fun that the dragon anyhow.

All the have is this one stretch of "good road" for hundreds of miles and the hype, traffic and police make it useless
In California that road would be where we'd warm up our tires on the way to the good roads

I accidentally ended up on the tail twice in the same year, I was just in the area and was looking for curvey roads on Google maps.
First time in March, second time in October. Both on a rental full size pickup.
It was hella fun, there wasn't a single other person in front of me both times.
That being said, I will never go there during a meeting.

I dunno, Ive never been there or ever plan to go. I have some of the twistiest roads in the country 10 mins from my house that dont get invaded by npc clout car people .we do get road biker during the day though I hate those road hogging faggots. They always choose the high speed backroads without a shoulder and cry when they almost get hit in a blind corner
